The program

If you are a Project Manager accustomed to working in structured environments and want to understand how to introduce greater agility into your projects, this course is for you! The Adaptive Project Management course is designed to help you integrate traditional skills with the agile approach, improving your operational effectiveness.

1: FROM TRADITIONAL TO AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The first module of the course is designed to provide a solid foundation, combining in-person activities and online training.

The module consists of 12 hours of classroom-based teaching and 4 hours of online teaching, focusing on the cultural and operational transition from traditional to agile project management, focusing on hybrid project management methodology.

This module aims to guide students through a process of envisioning, during which they will be able to compare approaches, mindsets, and tools, reflecting on how to transform professional habits to embrace the flexibility, collaboration, and continuous evolution that characterize agility.

Through practical exercises, discussions, and guided activities, you will begin to build a bridge between what you already know and what you want to know.

The first module will also present a case study that will serve as a common thread throughout the course, allowing students to observe the same problem in light of the various methodologies proposed.

2. AGILE FUNDAMENTALS

The second module is entirely dedicated to supporting the ICP Agile Fundamentals , offering an in-depth and focused training experience.

The fundamental elements covered during the classroom sessions include:

  • Understanding the agile mindset, values, and principles underlying the Agile Manifesto, without focusing on a specific framework;
  • Moments of reflection, group exercises, and practical experiences;
  • Exploring the dynamics of cross-functional teams;
  • Valorization of iterative-incremental development and the importance of continuous customer involvement;
  • Developing the ability to adapt processes and products in response to change, aligning theory and practice to successfully obtain certification.

3: SCRUM FRAMEWORK

The third module, lasting 12 hours in person plus 6 hours online, is dedicated to complete immersion in the Scrum framework and preparation for the Scrum Master (PSM 1) certification exam.

During the classroom sessions, the following will be analyzed in detail:

  • The roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team);
  • Events (Sprint Planning, Daily, Sprint Review, and Retrospective);
  • The fundamental artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Increment).

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Experiment with practical cases and group exercises;
  • Simulate the entire Sprint cycle;
  • Consolidate understanding of agile team processes and dynamics.

The goal is to bring out not only technical skills in Scrum, but also the ability to facilitate, promote continuous improvement, and coach the team—essential qualities for an effective Scrum Master.

The following 6 hours online will support individual preparation, and the following will be presented:

  • Study materials;
  • Self-assessment quiz
  • Clarification sessions aimed at building the confidence needed to successfully tackle Scrum.org's Scrum Master certification (PSM1).

4: KANBAN METHOD

The fourth module offers an intensive course on the Kanban method, starting with a brief theoretical introduction and continuing with an immersive experience.

The 12-hour in-person session is entirely dedicated to practical activities and workshops, allowing participants to experience firsthand the management of a Kanban flow.
During this immersive experience, participants will:

  • They experiment with creation;
  • Board maintenance;
  • Observation of work queues;
  • Intervention on bottlenecks;
  • Cycle time analysis.

Work is carried out on real or simulated scenarios, with groups in which authentic operational dynamics emerge, offering the opportunity to reflect together on visualization choices, priorities, and continuous improvement.

5: AI for PM

The fifth module explores the use of AI and new technologies within project management workflows.

A continuous theory + practice methodology is adopted, immediately transforming the concepts learned into working tools. The first part of the course offers an up-to-date overview of the AI landscape, analyzing the tools that are redefining the boundaries of Project Management to identify those best suited to your goals.

The focus then shifts to the advanced use of Artificial Intelligence: you will learn to master Prompt Engineering and context management, not only as a technical exercise, but as a strategic lever to guide models towards high-quality output. We will test these skills through real-life scenarios, simulating, for example, the management and analysis of a tender or the construction of a complex project from scratch.

After completing the Master's program, you will know

Manage projects in an agile way, adapting quickly to changes and enhancing team collaboration.

Acquire an adaptive mindset, operational tools, and internationally recognized certifications.
