An economist with a degree in Statistics and Economics from La Sapienza University in Rome, she obtained her PhD in Economics from the same university. Her research and publications focus on the economics of the credit sector, business financing (particularly for small businesses), and structural issues in the Italian economy, from the size structure of industry to the labor market.
