Massimiliano M. Schiraldi is Full Professor of Industrial Plants, PhD in Management Engineering, MBA. Since 2000, he has been teaching subjects in the field of Operations & Supply Chain Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and at companies and training institutes at national and international level. At the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he is Director of the Think Tank in Operations Excellence, Rector's Delegate for the organization of Major Events, and Coordinator of Social Media and University Merchandising. Internationally, he is a Guest Professor at Guizhou University of Finance & Economics (China), Visiting International Fellow at the University of Essex (Ireland), member of the Advisory Board of the Doctorate in Engineering at the University of Limerick (Ireland), and Co-Editor of the International Journal of Engineering Business Management. He is the national delegate to the ISO Technical Committees on Industrial Automation, Smart Manufacturing, and KPIs in Operations Management. He is the author of over 150 scientific publications and has supervised more than 300 theses and 25 doctoral students. He has participated in dozens of research, development, and industrial consulting projects in various sectors.
