Massimiliano M. Schiraldi is Full Professor of Operations Management and PhD in Economic-Managerial Engineering, with an MBA. Since 2001, he has been teaching at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where he holds the courses in Industrial Plants and Production Management, as well as Lean Production and Operations Management at the Master in Enterprise Engineering. He directs the Think Tank in Operations Excellence and is the Dean's Delegate for the organization of Major Events and Coordinator of University Social Media.
Internationally, he is Guest Professor at Guizhou University of Finance & Economics, Visiting International Fellow at the University of Essex and member of the Advisory Board of the Industrial Doctorate at the University of Limerick. He participates in ISO Technical Committees on Industrial Automation and Smart Manufacturing. He has supervised over 300 dissertations and more than 20 PhD theses, participating in over 50 research projects. Author of more than 150 scientific publications, he is Co-Editor of the International Journal of Engineering Business Management and Area-Editor of Computers and Industrial Engineering.
