Biography

Maddalena Campioni is a government consultant specializing in the future and forecasting, or a futurist. She has a background in neuroscience, health and politics, strategy, leadership, and planning, with over 25 years of experience in managing complexity, uncertainty, and change.

She currently works with the Italian government and is a verified contributor to the Dubai Future Foundation. Previously, she was a strategy and foresight expert atthe Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, head of foresight at ADQ, senior lecturer at the Dubai Future Academy, and future and foresight advisor to the UK government's Department for International Trade. Previously, she worked as a senior consultant to the United Nations for UNAIDS and WHO, director and partner at Scenario Development, and chair of the board of directors at Global Future, where she designed and led programs, projects, and initiatives, as well as convened numerous foresight meetings and workshops.

Maddalena's entire career has been dedicated to creating departments, skills, initiatives, and forecasting programs, constantly promoting a future-oriented perspective.

He has worked in global, regional, and national contexts, advising junior and senior management teams in complex environments, always applying a forward-looking vision to support decision-making processes, priority setting, and program alignment.

Her professional interests include the changing characteristics of humanity, social development, aging, trade, migration, and human mobility, with a particular focus on global health. Maddalena is also a neuroscientist, behavioral biologist, and social and health scientist by training.
