Biography

Antonello Barbaro is CEO and General Manager of H-FARM Education, where he leads the strategic and operational development of the entire education ecosystem, spanning education from infancy through college to vocational and management training.

With more than 20 years of international experience, Antonello has held leadership roles in highly complex settings, defining and implementing programs for transformation, growth and change management in heterogeneous industries -- from education to finance, from retail to oil & gas.

His expertise includes:

  • Strategic management and organizational development

  • Project portfolio planning and management

  • Fundraising and donor and alumni relations

  • People & talent development

  • School organization and operational efficiency

He has gained in-depth knowledge of the education sector, with particular focus on K-12 schools, international and boarding schools, higher education and technical training, in multicultural settings in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

  • New York University Abu Dhabi and StartAD (2017-2019)

  • The Global Fund (2010-2017)

  • McKinsey & Company (2008-2010)

He has worked in Switzerland, Germany, France, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Italy, consolidating a global perspective coupled with a strong sensibility for social and educational innovation.
