
Alexio Cassani is an Italian entrepreneur and technology popularizer, specializing in generative artificial intelligence, AI agents and digital transformation of companies. He is co-founder and CEO of FairMind, a startup founded in 2023 that develops innovative AI agent-based solutions to increase the productivity of software development teams. FairMind stands out for its focus on ethics and sustainability, offering a product that integrates intelligent agents into development processes, with the goal of improving the efficiency of software factories.
A graduate in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2003, Cassani has held key roles as CTO of Cortilia and Webscience (now part of Adesso Group), and founded Stentle, an innovative startup in the retail and e-commerce sector, which was acquired in 2019. He also worked as a researcher at the Observatories, Intranet first and Cloud later, of the Politecnico di Milano.
Since 2019, Cassani has been actively engaged in artificial intelligence, with particular focus on Generative AI, agent architectures and their adoption, operating as a popularizer, advisor and lecturer. He is an adjunct professor at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches Generative AI and focuses on the transformation of companies through the adoption of Generative AI, AI agents and advanced technologies.
Cassani is also a popular speaker nationally and internationally, participating in conferences and workshops on generative AI, AI agents, innovation in software factories, and responsible adoption of new technologies.
